In March 2025, a TikTok post reminded Grace of the experience of the Access Hollywood interview where the interviewer kept talking about Taylor Swift: ”When I was filming stuff for my album (the 2025 Child Star album), someone wanted to show me a video from when I was younger, and I was like ‘no.no, no, please, I don’t want to see that¨, and she said, no – I think you are going to want to see it. And there is this video of this interviewer pushing me so hard about Taylor Swift, and it is the funniest thing I have seen in my life. And I am being such a little bitch, and I love it so much. And I couldn’t believe it because I felt like I was so media-trained back then. I do not remember being so overtly bitchy. I was Columbia Records' very shiny new toy, and they were putting you go to work. We would do these days where, we would just go from office to office to office, and within each office, you would go to multiple radio shows and interviews. And I would do that shit for eight fucking hours, and I was like 13 years old. And I think this was the end of the day, and bitch was fed up. And I remember looking at someone off-camera, thinking to myself, ‘If she asks me one more question, I am genuinely going to finish this interview’. I watched that, and I was proud of myself. Because why was she asking so many questions – we get it, you wished you were interviewing Taylor Swift. I am sorry, you’ve got ME. Are we going to work towards that, or are we wallowing in it? Oh, you are choosing the wallow option! It was so overtly shady, I wasn’t even hiding it - they were like, “Are you a fan of Taylor Swift’ and I was like ‘You know what, she is successful, she is a successful woman’ That’s why I tell people I have always been this way, I really mean that I have always been this way. During that time, with the whole Taylor Swift narrative, I was getting asked about that all the time.”
