Grace goes live on IG for 30 min
After a therapy session with herself on Photobooth, Grace went on IG live for about half an hour to reconnect with fans.
She was in her parents’ house where she had been grounded – for the last month. She totally fell behind school (she is still doing online school) with about a hundred assignments, and her parents found out. She also broke curfew a couple of times and her sister told on her for something which got her in trouble too.
Nothing was going on in her life, she was not doing anything, except staying in her room all day eating junk food, and that’s why she had nothing to talk about and didn’t go online.
Also, she had cut down significantly on her social media use after she had a panic attack over it 6 months ago. And, anyway, she found Instagram really boring. The only SoMe she was using was Pinterest where she lived her life “vicariously".
During the live, she told about how a friend's constant playing of Olivia Rodrigo’s latest album had made her a convert: “I don’t know what witchcraft she is doing – because I never got it when everyone was fawning over her. Never loved her music. One day I just woke up and it just clicked- all of a sudden in the car I just HAD to hear her. It’s like she put a spell on me. I love her though."
She had to end the live because she promised her dad, she would watch a movie with him.
