Grace went live on IG for the first time in a long time. She was " feeling great, good things are coming to me, and I am ready to accept it." The last year had been hard " This year has put me through some shit – a karmic year. The universe telling me – You are not an adult; you thought you had figured it all out. And it hurt, and it was awful. But I have generally come out a new woman. It’s been a really terrible year, in a fantastic way."
Filming Megalopolis
" Filming has been unbelievably indescribably incredible. I am happy that I can die saying that I did this. I wrap on the 31st of January; the hardest scenes are left now."
Shocking the patriarchy
She had to let her hair grow for filming. "I was told “don’t cut your hair" months before pre-production – now I love it so much. I will get extensions once we wrap".(One of the hairdressers on the set will do it for her). She also had to take her tongue piercing out for filming, and though she loved that piercing, she is not sure if she wants to get her tongue re-pierced. But she wants to do something: " Something about not being able to do anything really makes me want to do everything. So maybe when I get home I’ll get extensions, a diamond tooth, get some tattoos get some piercings – you know, go off the rails for a second, worry some people. What’s life if you are not worrying some people!? When the patriarchy starts hating me a little bit, that’s when I know I am doing something right. It’s a nice feeling.
Music and touring
And she talked about new music and touring: "I am going to release new music, finally, actually. … I want to release music and collaborate more with writers." She really wanted to tour, but she had realized how big a machine setting up a tour is, now that she is an adult and has to take decisions herself.
