Relasedate for new single announced

Instagram post

After a few days of teasing, Grace announced the release date for her next single and posted a few pictures from what may be a music video on Instagram, with the caption ”Call it what you want coming August 16📱🌙. ”. Among the first to comment on the post was Nick Barr. He is a senior vice president at PULSE Records, part of PULSE Music Group - a prominent Indie music publisher and label. Strongly suggesting that she has a new label.

Along with pre-save links to all the major streaming services (the list continues below the cutout we show), Grace posted what might be the cover of the single on her new page on feature.fm - an indie music marketing platform. (When opening the page for the first time, the user is asked to give PULSE records permission to set a cookie - which confirms this as her new label)

And Graces komi.io website ( gracevanderwaal.komi.io ), was also updated as was her Spotify bio. For the first time in a very long time, all of Grace’s SoMe and websites were up to date and in sync.

The new Spotify bio provided a hint about Grace's new musical direction and also hinted that the real push will not be until 2025: "2025 brings new music where fans can expect a compilation of influences drawn from realizing the power of defining one’s path while having a strong character. The sonic direction of her new music is inspired by indie artists and projects that she loves, such as "Melodrama" by Lorde, Girl in Red, and Suki Waterhouse.
