Interview with Toronto TV station aired

Grace sent out an invitation to presave "What’s Left of Me". The presave page showed the full version of a picture she had shared a fragment of on Sep 13.

Also, on this day, an Interview with local Toronto TV station CP24, taped on Sept 7, aired. Grace talked about being in Megalopolis, the songs she wrote for the movie, and her plans for the future.

About Megalopolis
"When I first heard about the movie, I thought it was crazy but very daring and kind of broke out of the box, and I am very attracted to creativity along those lines.” (about working with Adam Driver) “[He was] kind, really nice, really professional. It was really, really cool. I definitely felt like I did not belong on the set at all. I was forgetting my lines left and right, it was like hohoho – how am I here!? I think I forgot one line, and you definitely tell yourself, you do that again"

Looking back at AGT
"I don’ really look back often. It’s kind of weird to think about, but this has just been my story and my life, and that kind of how it ended up, it’s kind of my normal."

Writing music for Megalopolis
Q: When did you know that some of that music was actually going to be in the film? A: "From the very beginning, Francis made it really clear he wanted me to write two songs for the movie". Q: Was that a lot of pressure? A: "I don’t know what is wrong with me or what ego I might have, but I was just like – heck yeah, I can do that. I was nervous about one of them because it was very prompted, so I wasn’t able to take any inspiration from my own life, which I very typically do. But I was really up to the challenge, and it worked out, so… I loved writing from the character’s perspective, and I feel that she has underlining elements of irony and sort of this comedic tone that I Just personally threw in there, and he allowed me to have that, it was creatively collaborative. I don’t think I could have done it if I didn't like the character so much. I was really able to psychoanalyze her to the smallest bones of what makes her, her. And she is very dimensional, and I think that was really inspiring because I thought she was funny and thought-provoking."

Future plans
Q: Do you want to star in a big picture like this? A:"I go project by project. I am not focusing on like ‘being a movie star’. I like to make music, and I like to collaborate we people I genuinely think are artistic and doing this for the right reasons. If something came about, I would do it, but no, that is definitely not the goal." Q: Where do you see the next two to three years from now? A:"I have no idea two or three years from now, but I know the next couple of months, and that is this music, I have a personal project, this movie, and then and then just evaluating from there."
