Grace attended the Cirque de Soleil "JOYA" show in Cancun, Mexico, where she was on vacation with her sister Olivia. She posted a string of video clips from the show on IG Stories. This was not the first time Grace had been at a Cirque de Soleil show, but last time, in March 2017, Grace was among the performers, at the Cirque's annual fundraiser "One Night for One Drop"
Before the show, Grace posted a fanmade mashup of a speed-up version of "What’s Left of Me", and Lorde’s “Perfect places”.
She also posted a set of photos on Instagram, posing at the hotel with the caption "No cash, no credit" (= looking so good you don’t have to pay for anything yourself).

On their website, they describe the show: “JOYÀ chronicles the adventures of a rebellious teenage girl who lands in a mystery jungle in her grandfather's fanciful world. The old biologist longs to pass on to his granddaughter his unrelenting search for the meaning of life while being surrounded by a weird group of half-human, half-animal masters influenced by ancient Mayan iconography. JOYÀ was inspired by the monarch butterfly's amazing migratory journey, in which life is handed down from one generation to the next to ensure the survival of the species.”

Grace and Olivia met actress Selma Blair at the event. This was the 10th anniversary of the show, and a number of celebrities were invited to the celebration, among them Grace, accompanied by sister Olivia. Other celebrities at the event were Christine Quinn, Peyton List, Natalie Martinez, Danielle Panabaker and Katie Cassidy.
