Performance Details

Grace posted a live performance of "What’s Left of Me" on Instagram and on Tiktok, accompanied only by a toy piano. And she nailed it! (for link see performance page)

Video events with Glamour Mag & Teen Vogue

TikTok Post

Grace took part in a "Songs for every single moment" video for Glamour Magazine and a "My first internet moments" video for Teen Vogue. As both are owned by Condé Nast, the videos were made back-to-back at the same place. Both were published on TikTok.

For the Glamour Magazine video Grace named "Casey Jones" by the Grateful Dead and "Chevrolet Van" by The Nude Party as her favorite road-trip songs. "20 Something" by SZA was the anthem of her life. She explained the choice of this song: "It’s kind of about bittersweet transformation and the loss of a track and a journey, and I feel like everyone thinks that when you become an adult, you get this clear sense of like – follow this track. But it just gets very blurry and confusing, and no one is telling you what to do. That’s why I like this song." "Norman Fucking Rockwell" by Lana Del Rey was her go-to sad song. And among her guilty-pleasure songs were the album "We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things" by Jason Mraz and "Hit the lights" by Selena Gomez. Grace also talked about how she loved the Sex and the City theme song. "It just like represents something really bad for me now. I have watched every single season so many times, and I used to put it on, like, in the darkest moments of my life, like, if I’m like, ‘I can’t sleep’, or I’m feeling, like, really, really sick, that I literally run for the remote and skip it. Sorry to Sex and the City theme song."

TikTok post

For the Teen Vogue video, Grace did not want to provide the user name for her first Instagram account, as it was still out there and contained some very cringy stuff. (Her present Instagram account was opened in July 2015, but she had another one opened in December 2013. She had a SoMo presence before that, but this was on her Vine account, which she opened in May 2013). She explained: "I am actually not tech savvy at all. I need to talk to my management about this. My very first Instagram is still out there. I know that I posted some cringe stuff, and it is so bad. That little girl had no sense of a digital footprint. She had no sense that that was going to haunt her for the rest of her life. I was posting whatever." She was asked about her first celebrity follower online, She couldn’t remember who that was (but it was probably Harvey Mandel), but she could say that one of her latest was Liza Koshy . The first album she grooved to with wired earphones was Miley Cyrus "The Bottom of The Ocean". The First TikTok dance she ever learned: "I think when TikTok first came out, I was like ‘fuck TikTok, I am so much cooler than that’. But I did the "Apple dance."
