First time on IG live in 2 years
Grace went Live on Instagram for about an hour (we do not know how much of the beginning was captured by the recording we have access to).
She had just woken up and chatted for about 45 minutes while strumming her guitar or starting on various songs along the way (none of which really went anywhere).
She talked about having to pack her things as she was moving soon. She spoke about the fate of her abandoned EP Letters Vol 1, what inspired her new album, and more. This was the first time in a very long time that Grace had done a live on IG. The last one we can find was in January 2023. She said she had stopped going live because it was so embarrassing.
A viewer asked if she had any tips for new artists to follow. She answered: "No, I feel l like a new artist. I don’t know what the fuck I am doing - at all. It’s such a hard time right now. It’s all about studying fucking numbers, algorithms and shit like that."
Another viewer asked what happened with the songs from the Anti Social Camp back in 2023 ”That was supposed to be like a writer’s camp. I don’t know how those songs ever became public. I was very surprised to see those publicly. I was like – ‘Oh! That’s embarrassing!’ I didn’t think they were very good." As an illustration of why she didn’t like these songs to have been made public, Grace talked about a TikTok she had seen, showing "how I imagine songwriters" "I hate that that is so accurate" She then (at 46:00 minutes in the video) proceeded to pretend to be at a songwriting session for "Call it What You Want".
As Grace did not get very far with any of the songs she started on during the live, we have not created a “performance” for this event, but here are the songs she more or less attempted to sing.
