GRAMMY Spotlight

Notes

Under the headline "We Are Not Worthy of Grace VanderWaal and Her Insanely Good Vocals", Popsugar entertainment wrote, of Grace's performance:

"Grace VanderWaal seamlessly covered Shawn Mendes's soulful ballad "In My Blood" at the Grammy Museum. She asked the crowd to forgive her in advance in case she forgot some of the words, but there was no need because she nailed the performance."
"The Grammy Museum’s small theater was packed with many young women and their parents, who view VanderWaal as a plucky heroine, writing her own songs and charting her life at such a young age. During her on-stage interview, VanderWaal was refreshingly unpolished, honest and thoughtful with her answers to the typical questions. When asked about post-AGT life—and whether opening for Imagine Dragons was scary—she told the audience that America’s Got Talent was the most nerve-wracking. She compared the experience to throwing a kid on the scariest amusement ride first. All the other rides afterward are easy peasy." (Popradar 29 july 2018)

The GRAMMY Museum is a museum devoted to the history and winners of the Grammy Awards. The Museum has a collection of historical music artifacts including costumes and instruments from the Grammy Awards, hand-written lyrics, records, and audio/video recordings. The museum includes the 200-seat Clive Davis Theater (Wikpedia)
