Performance [216] 5-Jun-2019 (High as Hope Tour (Florence & The Machine) - Opener)

Concert

Notes

“Nathaniel Rateliff and The Nightsweats were originally slated as the supporting musical act for this tour. However, lead singer Nathaniel Rateliff missed the Atlanta tour date due to health concerns (possible problems with his hearing) and it was unsure when or if he would be able to return and perform. In his stead, Grace Vanderwaal was tapped to step in. You may remember Grace as the young teen who won America’s Got Talent. She had big shoes to fill, and she stomped around in them gracefully and with ease. Her prowess in front of large crowds was apparent and she, alongside her band, put on an amazing performance. She hit the stage with a ukulele, and quickly abandoned it in favour of dancing around the stage with the mic. She played a song titled “Florence,”[SIC] which is just as beautiful as it sounds.” (MNPR Magazine June 18, 2019)
