Performance [22] 11-Jun-2016 (Festival)

Strawberry Festival

Bergen Highlands United Methodist Church

Notes

From mention of the festival on Northjersy.com:

To commemorate a time when Bergen County was known as the "Strawberry Capital of the World," the church will be serving strawberry shortcake made with fresh, hand-picked strawberries from local farms, atop homemade pound cake with ice cream and whipped cream. Beverages and freshly grilled hamburgers and hotdogs will also be served. Eat-in or takeout will be available.

Throughout the day, enjoy games, crafts, entertainment by the Applause Performing Arts Center, shopping at the artisans' and merchants' booths on the front lawn, and bidding on the silent auction items inside the building.

The event will take place, rain, or shine. Tickets are available at the door or pre-purchased for a 20 percent discount. Proceeds of the festival will continue to aid us in our commitment to various missions including youth, outreach to Paterson, and our local community.
