ROCKland Helping Rockland: An Interthon for People to People

Notes

Grace performed, as one of several Rockland County natives, at an online benefit for Rockland County's largest food pantry. The concert was live-streamed on People to People's Facebook page and LCM247's YouTube channel. The event raised more than $100,000. Apart from Grace, the event showcased a lineup of Rockland-based performers and remote guests, with more than 15 performers taking the stage from home, including Rita Harvey (Broadway’s “Fiddler on the Roof and “The Phantom of the Opera”), Johnny Murkowski, drummer for the New Riders of the Purple Sage, singer-songwriter Tom Chapin, The Chapin Sisters duo (his daughters), Songwriter-performer Joe D'Urso and fiddler Eileen Ivers.

"Donations are down at Rockland County's largest food pantry But need has already jumped To help raise cash and concern, dozens of Rockland County-based performers plan to join a virtual concert, Performers will be in their homes and will perform about 10 minutes each" (LOHUD Apr 2, 2020)
