Notes

"Matt Robertson is a British-born, Canadian-based, Grammy-nominated composer, producer, sound engineer, musical director and major synth enthusiast, working with a collection of vintage, modern and DIY synths, and combining electronic music production with classical composition and cinematic soundscapes. He has released four albums under his own name to date, balancing ambient sound design alongside warm organic techno and ripples of delicate electronics. He has worked as a musical director for Björk, Cinematic Orchestra, Arca, Anohni and Antony Hegarty as well as working with Lamb, Emiliana Torrini and Bat For Lashes.; You can hear his work on film scores including ‘Steve Jobs’ for composer Daniel Pemberton and ‘The Hunt’ and ‘American Assassin’ for composer Steven Price. His recent work with Anoushka Shankar awarded him a Grammy nomination, and he recently scored the film ‘The New Corporation – The Unfortunately Necessary Sequel’. As a rule, we only have bios on artists that Grace has worked with or who have had a part in the creation or production of her music. The amount of information on each of these artists varies greatly, dependent on how much has been readily available. We have tried to identify the artists correctly, but sometimes it has been difficult to determine who exactly is behind the name. Unless otherwise stated, the bios are based on data retrieved at the start of 2021.
