Performance [92] 21-Apr-2017 (Event)

WE Day

Notes

More than 16.000 students and educators attended WE day Seattle. Other performers at the event were Allen Stone (soul- og R&B-singer) and Jordan Smith (singer, and actor).

We Day (stylized as WE Day) is an annual series of stadium-sized youth empowerment events organized by the WE Charity. WE Day was founded by brothers Marc and Craig Keilburger, empowering youth to help others. WE Day is, a loud, boisterous one-day philanthropy rally to reward and encourage young people to do some good in this world. (Vancouver Courier 24 Oct 2017)

WE Day events host tens of thousands of students and celebrate the impact they have made on local and global issues. You can’t buy a ticket to WE Day. Students earn their tickets by participating in the We Schools program, a year-long service-learning program run by We Charity. Each event features a lineup of social activists, speakers, and musical performances. (Wikipedia)
